Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to wrap sweet potatoes in foil?
No. Cooking them directly in the air fryer allows the skin to become lightly crisp while the inside stays beautifully soft.
How do I know when they’re cooked?
Insert a knife into the thickest part. If it slides through easily with no resistance, they’re ready.
Can I make them ahead of time?
Yes. Cook them fully, refrigerate and simply reheat when needed.
Should I pierce sweet potatoes before air frying?
It’s optional. Many people do, but they cook perfectly well without piercing when air fried.
